Footballocracy is an independent publication launched in December 2024.

It has or will have Google ads and that is how the owner of the site will pay for the hosting and the odd pint. If you subscribe, you'll get full access to the blog (ability to make comments) as well as emails about new content when it's available.

We might also one day in the future provide a paid subscription option, but that might not happen and is a long way off if it does. The aim is to make no post longer than three minutes to read, ideally two.

If you were wondering about the author, it's me, Damian. I started my first blog about Aston Villa here in 2004, but as I've got older and grumpier, I've formed more opinions about other things football, so created this.
